Why are we starting this?
Amanah Federal Credit Union is currently in the formation stage and actively preparing our application with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). One of the key requirements for approval is showing community interest. That’s why we are gathering pledges of support- a simple way for individuals to demonstrate they want this option available. Together, we can make this vision a reality.
For many people in our community, accessing financial services often means choosing between necessity and faith. Amanah seeks to remove that barrier by offering products that avoid interest (riba) and prioritize trust, fairness, and mutual benefits. We believe everyone deserves access to financial tools that support -not compromise-their values.
